I am an Embodied Peri-Menopause/Menopause Journey coach - I offer you support through yoga, and hypnotherapy tailored to your needs. As well as the shared experiences, your journey is unique to you whether you are at the threshold of peri-menopause or the other side at post menopause.

I am intentional in saying Embodied Peri-Menopause/Menopause because if not now when are we going to prioritise coming home to ourselves, into our bodies and throw out all the projections we took on, what we internalised to be accepted to be safe enough. This is the truth that builds up a sense of urgency to reset at this life cycle transition. To finally take up more authentic space and expression and in that process share our gifts and experiences as we fill ourselves with us, full, fulfilled.

I am at the phase around post menopause where my energy is returning and I am redefining myself. (Generally your clearer on which phase you are in towards it’s completion.) Retrospectively I can see the transformational power within the menopause journey. I am a yoga teacher with almost 20 years of teaching experience, with a deep understanding of the nervous system to offer you tools and experience to support and celebrate you. It’s a topsy turvy journey, I am offering you a little insight, and containment as you negotiate and navigate your journey. My intention, my prayer is that you claim your Gold. X

Listed below are ways I can support your peri-menopause/menopause journey, I also design bespoke sessions on request.

The Optimal Pelvic Floor Health session is a prerequisite to working together. Each session is 60mins.

Deepen your understanding of the female pelvic floor. Explore pelvic floor mapping through subtle anatomy. Through breath work identify any patterns that apply pressure to the pelvic floor and provide techniques to optimise pelvic floor blood circulation, tone and flexibility.

Hot flushes are vasomotor symptoms, which are believed to be caused by the drop in oestrogen hormone levels during peri menopause, which affects noradrenaline levels and the hypothalamus gland in the brain. A physically cooling and mentally calming yoga practice to reduce stress and heat. I use hypnotherapy and guided meditation to ease the symptoms.

Just like with Premenstrual Syndrome (PMS), the changing levels of your hormones affect your moods. Peri menopause can intensify the PMS symptoms which can last for weeks or months. Additionally at this life stage we tend to reflect on our lived experiences and suppressed anger may begin to rise up. A practice that acknowledges the parts of you that feel a sense of anger, irritation or outrage and techniques that allow you to release safely what is ready to be released.

Anxiety, brain fog, worry, overwhelm are recognised menopause symptoms caused by hormonal changes. A gentle grounding practice moving towards more stillness within you. I also use hypnotherapy and guided meditation to activate the relaxation response.

Menopause marks a woman’s transition into a life stage where they are no longer fertile. This can bring feelings of grief and loss that can become stuck. A practice that uses movement, breath and sound to help release the hurt and struggle that is calling to be expressed.

In my experience it is at post menopause that you are fully able to see the transformational power that menopause offers. There are pieces of gold throughout the journey, it is up to you to claim them. A practice which takes you through the five phases of menopause to awaken and embody your wise power.
